Medium 0.8kg Cheese Mould including pressing plate (follower).
For use with hard or soft cheeses. Great for making Gouda, larger sized Camembert, Leiden, Parmesan, paneer etc. Has small feet to allow for good drainage of the curds or when pressing the cheese.
This mould can be sterilized in boiling water. The mould is imported from Europe and we have had the follower manufactured especially for us here in Christchurch. The 4 mm thick follower is made from acrylic which has been selected to provide a rigid disc which can take the weight on it required when pressing cheeses.
